what were your settings?  did you lay the character down?

i remember that tutorial used constrained verts to keep the rest of the body part from sagging.  did you up the air dampening all the way? 

galactictuna you can scale a magnet down in a direction to flatten round surfaces.  as a person sits on a chair you can use two magnets to simulate both legs on the chair.  and again flatten the bottom of the legs.

i haven't tried this, (so it's probably idiotic to mention it but here goes anyway) maybe on the legs, one magnet each leg to flatten it, then another magnet on top of it to curve the leg inwards towards the thigh.  if the magnets conflict, then i would just send the first magnets deformation out as a morph and use the second one anyway.  i don't think they will though.
