Chris, I probably fall into that catergory since I like to work with people and animals closeup.  I started with Bryce and DazStudio and went to Vue and D/S.  I own Poser6 but I never learned to use it.  I'd like to though, as when you import from Poser, the bump is automatically changed to whatever you have the conversion set to....think it's around .08 or such.  When I create in D/S and import to Vue, I have to change the transparency maps and fix the bump on all my textures.   Maybe I missed a setting somewhere but the amount of time it takes to fix everything has kept me from creating anything of late.  I'm not a landscape kine of person.  I love landscapes and viewing others efforts but they are not what move me to create.
