Subject: Preview visibility

I'm using Vue 6 infinite and I find it really annoying that whenever the polygon count in a scene goes over 1 million (which can mean simply having a few alder trees alone) my models become solid boxes, making it damn near impossible to do anything effectively without constantly rendering small portions of my pictures to see if the model I'm placing is where I want it to be.  Is there a way around this?  I'm a little tired of having to deal with this and I'm really hoping someone knows a way to fix this....

Thanks for your help!

File -> Options -> Display Options - uncheck Limit OpenGL polygons (at least this works in Vue 7 Infinite)
