Boni: The viewsonic does use a trinitron tube. It's mostly the controls and the auto-power sensing on the Viewsonic that cause it to lose points with me. The monitor goes into sleep mode when I reboot, and 3 times out of 4 I need to cycle the power on the monitor to get it to wake up. Minor things, I know... -ScottK
