There's no charge. I assume their store is not set up to handle adding customers without CC info. or they want it to filter out leechers. I completely understand the desire to cut down on that kind of thing, but, I have no reason to believe that PW is any more secure than the many other companies that have had their customer data compromised. Personally, I can't see putting it at even a small degree of additional risk for some free Poser items, even from an excellent and venerable source like PW. Perhaps they can devise another solution. If not, it's only Poser :-) Of course expressing such reservations will probably lead to being branded as an ungrateful sod, but I'll be watching the Super Bowl. Let's go Sreelers!!!!
