Subject: Transferring animation layers between files

I've created a layer in a recent animation called "body shake", which basically makes the figure vibrate slightly. this is something I need for another animation I'm working on.

So I'm trying to copy the layer from where I made it, to a new animation, to avoid having to make it again. Poser is being annoying, though.

I saved a pose to the library from the first pz3, and clicked the "select layers" button in the frame selector dialog, then deselected all but the layer I want to copy.

However, when I try to apply this multi frame pose to another animation, although the body shake layer is applied perfectly, it also applies the Base Layer from that animation, despite the fact that I explicity told it not to. What is going on?

Oh, nevermind. I opened poser, went back and tried it again, having done nothing different. This time it worked fine.

hooray for inconsistency
