Quote - > Quote -  I currently use Poser 6 and have a tough time trying to render reflections. I've updated my system to 2gigs of RAM and it still says that there isn't enough memory to complete the render. And the thing is, it isn't a render full of reflections either. I only had one thing reflecting a character's face and it crashed the program.

What I was wondering, is if Poser 7 isn't as quirky about that sort of thing. Either that, or what I can do to fix the glitch or problem in Poser 6 so I can render reflections without a problem.

Any ideas or advice?  Thanks,-Summer

Poser 7 is much better about memory related problems, IMO, than 6 was. It also appears more stable but, occasionally, it does just say "The heck with it" and crash during the odd render.  Usually when I just have asked it to do too much on my older 'puter.  However, if you're raytracing reflections and asking it to calculate 20 passes... that could be an issue.  What are your render settings for raytracing?  Raytracing reflections is one of the more intensive processes you'll encounter in Poser.

My settings are standard, I guess. I added a mild reflection to a knife and that was it, Poser 6 gave me the royal middle finger. It sucked majorly.
