If there is some kind of "silent fix" in progress I am sure many here have the files & skills needed to figure out what is happening. Come on, don't try and do this quietly - just make an announcement and play straight with us, you already look bad. I understand your point about a formal complaint, and I think Staale should make one - but I ALSO think you have a responsability to look into these issues on your own.
