Well, you can start with this...Most 3D programs utolise HDR in the same fasion for the same reasons..to get physically accurate representation of light and reflection. to explain it all here would be quite a task. I am studying it myself at the moment. Niot lighting as i have been using it for quite some time now, but actually photographing it...which involves EV values and such. Best to just follow the link, and give it good days reading :D

I cannot think of to many people that use it to its full potential in Vue, but you can look at fabrice gallery and also phlynn gallery...they both use it with great results. Good luck(;
