Actually I know exactly what the OP means. I did feel the same way when X2000 (I think it's the name) made his Star Trek things free after I'd bought them.

It's really not the same as last year's car. And then again, in a way it is.

I'm split. I admit that when someone takes the time to write me about my discontinued store items here, I'm usually giving them away (unlerss they're st8ill for sale somewhere else) but it's the same reason why I'm practically never doing a store-wide sale -  I HATE to buy something and find it on sale a week later. It's more OK with older stuff, but recently I bought a fairly expensive scene (brand new!) only to see it go on sale three days later. It influenses how much I want to deal with that seller again. Not necessarily to a point where I'll never buy his or her stuff again, but I'm much more tempted to wait a while and see it go on sale. A well-known texture artist here routinely puts all their stuff on sale ever so often. I would never ever buy anything at full price from that vendor because I know that if I wait a week or two,it'll be on sale - again.

To me, that's bad business. But to each their own. It does influence my buying habits though. If someone always puts their things on sale after the first month.. why rush in and buy it? Or as in this cvase.. it they give it away after a few morths.. why pay for it at all. Most of us aren't using the stuff commercially anyway.

PhilC otoh does the opposite. Some of his things start out as freebies and are later converted to For Sale stuff. This is more edible to me: Be an early bird, grab it while it's hot and save money. Or be lazy and pay for that LOL

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
