~ How to make a Figure Rotate for an Animation in Poser ~
( a quicktut by dr geep)
I changed the "yRotate" parameter for the Figure.
1. @ Frame 1 - set yRotate = 0 degrees
2. Click the "End Frame" arrow [ >| ] to go to Frame 30 (the default # of frames)
3. @Frame 30 - set yRotate to 348 * degrees
4. Click the "Play" button and watch the movie
We could go through and do this manually for each frame, e.g.,
Frame 1 - yRotate 12
Frame 2 - yRotate 24 (12 +12)
Frame 3 - yRotate 36 (12+12+12), etc.
Or, we could just go to Frame 30 and set yRotate to 348 degrees ...
That's 360 degrees (same as 0 degrees where we started) ... minus 12 degrees or 348 degrees.
... and let Poser fill in all of the inbetween frames. Ain't Poser great.
If you want a smoother animation, increase the number of frames for a total of 60 frames and then the last frame would be ...
360 / 60 = 6 degrees per frame and the last frame
would have yRotate set to 360 minus 6 or 354 degrees.
Ok?
