Gonna look up UAC and some other security things. I know you can turn of the "allow/cancel" thing - just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I also think it's because of this that my copy of XSI 4.2 (written before Vista was even a thought) won't run. It might just not run on Vista, but I'd like to get it through the install at least to find out!
