There are may things I like more in Carrara then in Vue, like the modelling features. So  for me Vue can't replace Carrara. I hope they will fix it.

I have just bought the Carrara  6 Pro to Carrara Pro 7.1 package 5 minutes ago. I know its not supposed to work on Vista 64 but am going to give it a try anyways.

Carrara 5 Pro is running fine on my Vista 64 bit machine so I don't understand why 6 Pro and 7.1 Pro shouldn't.

At worst... if it doesn't work I can still run it on my XP system.

I have Vue 7 on Vista 64 bit and it runs fine, but... I just can't model with it.

I would be lost without one version of Carrara or another. I have always used it for modelling and all my freebies and for sale products here at Rosity were made entirely in Carrara.
