Mind you, I have all the fancy crap turned off (no Aero, or sidebar).  My system looks like it's running Vista! lol.

I held off on buying Carrara 7 because all the user reports said that it wouldn't run on Vista 64 bit without a lot of hacking.

But I bought C 7.1 Pro a couple of days ago while the 65% off offer was still available, with the knowledge that I would probably have to run it on my XP system.

But... I tried it on my Vista 64 bit system and it is working fine... even with most of the Vista bells and whistles switched on.

C 7.1 Pro actually switches my Vista 64 to the basic none Aero set-up while it is running, but it automatically switches back to Aero when I quit out of the program.

Very pleased with it so far.
