Those RDNA fabrics are very pretty and totally useful, but I don't get why they're called sequins. It's just a shiny metallic thread, not sequins at all.
I'm making real sequins procedurally.
On the left, the RDNA "sequin" fabric. The other two are my new one.
I've got the basic procedural done, now I'm just setting up all the parameters so you can dial in any colors you want. You'll be able to control what color the underlying cloth is, and what color the sequins are, and whether they are metallic or plastic, and whether they reflect in different colors or the same color. Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
