Now.. my problem occurred in Vista and not XP, but just to aliminate the video driver as a possible culprit, try switching preview modes to SreeD and see if the problem persists. If this fixes it then it's definitely something wit the OpenGL driver and you should check for an update of your video driver.

If it keeps crashing after this, then it's something else...

When you installed it, did you install it on top of the existing Poser or in a new location?
