I'm sorry...when I asked about the Readme's I totally forgot my external runtime is set up completely different than most of yours. I have folders with separate runtimes for each item so the readme's stay in tact and aren't overwritten. The only other thing(s) added to each folder are addons. The readmes are usually titled different. I.E. "City Line" for Cowgirl. It's usually the license agreement that's overwritten...which is no biggie, because if it is, it's known all the folder's contents came from Rendo.

As far as the topic---when I do an image, I credit all products used. I do this mainly for the viewers, as many times I've seen an image, and wondered where I could get the items.
