I have Poser 7.0.4.220 .

This is one of my frogman with rebreather models. In it, his breathing set (rebreather) is parented to the man's chest, and in the breathing set the two round objects (the big one is the canister and the small one is the blowoff valve) which are on his breathing bag are children of his breathing bag. In those two parts, translate-Y and translate-Z are un-hiddened, and the translate-Y and translate-Z each has the "slave's chain" (valueOpDeltaAdd //  Figure 2 // BODY:2 // inflate_all_sl // deltaAddDelta 0.005000 ) to let a master parameter dial in the rebreather's BODY move those parts when inflating his breathing bag. I made this model in Poser 4 times and it worked OK then. (The breathing bag is on the front of his chest.)

But today I used that model under Poser 7. When I moved the frogman, the canister and the blowoff both stayed still and did not move with the frogman.

I tried deleting the "slave's chain" and re-hiddening the translates, using a text editor and saving the result in new .CR2 files, and the trouble persisted.

I then did this:

Load the frogman. Select his canister. All its rotates and translates were 0. (Note, it is a direct child of his breathing bag,) I typed ctrl-C to save the canister's parameter dial settings in the clipboard.

I selected the man's BODY and moved the frogman. The canister and the blowoff stayed behind as usual.

I selected the canister. Its rotates and translates still all read 0, although the canister's parent had moved and the canister had not moved.

I rendered (in Poser 4 mode): the fault  remained.

I selected the canister. I typed ctrl-V to re-load the saved parameter dial settings back into the canister as on the screen, only in the canister. The canister AND THE BLOWOFF both immediately flew to their correct positions on his breathing bag.

Please, what is happening?
