I used the P4 male in this image as the alien kid because I had a soldier uniform for the character and the P4 figures can be easily resized as child figures (haven't checked if it can still be done in P7). Then I morphed him to look a little more like the greys and added a bluish tone to match the Sixus1 grey.

I don't use the P4 figures much because there's minimal support for them today. The old P4 downloads I have use the standards Poser had many years ago. That means relatively simple meshes and small texture sizes. That makes them unsuitable for most close figure uses. Wardrobe Wizard, and other clothing conversion programs, allow tranferring newer items to them. If I've already got a V3 outfit for V3, it's less hassle to simply use V3.

That doesn't mean I won't use a P4 figure again. It's more a matter of doing a project where it makes sense to use the figures rather than forcing myself to find a need for them. I haven't used the P5-P7 figures, but just bought some more outfits for them from the First Friday sale. I'll eventually get some use out of them. I don't have any specific figure preferences other than the practicality that I have more freebies and paid content for some than others that lend themselves to something I want to create.
