I suppose some images simply do look postworked...otherwise how did it manage to look so good?  I suppose also "degree" of postwork is part of it, considering saturation enhancement and sharpness out of camera would be considered postwork, even if of the most ordinary sort as is routinely  done "in camera" unless a camera menu is chosen not to do those things.
(I set the camera to do as little as possible to the image..just give me the unaltered data as unaltered as can be.)

If someone were to compliment me on the entire image...and the postwork assumed to have been done, I will take it as a compliment.  Then, if in the mood,  would site mail the commentator to let them know particulars about the shot and the sort of post work actually done.    Seems fair enough to me.       TomDart
