To come right out and tell you:  No, out of the box, M3 conforming clothing cannot be conformed onto D3.  The bones are not of the same dimensions, and when you conform M3 clothing onto D3, you'll get wrong deformations.  You can re-rig M3 conforming clothing with tools like Wardrobe Wizard or Crossdresser, or by hand in the Setup room, but some work will definitely be required.
