Subject: How do I change CMYK background values?

Unless you have a really good quality of paper to print on a high value CMYK will ink soak the paper. It's not only the extra ink used it's the poor quality it will produce. Higher CMYK values mean more ink used. Here is an example of a 252% color. On top is same color but with a curve layer adjustment bringing it to 229%.
