Thanks guys! Yep…a little memento from my saintly childhood days when I got hit in the eye with a brick. I didn’t know how to stay out of trouble then. LOL…come to think about…I still don’t! Over the years it developed into a cataract (in my case...a Cadillac...LOL) but the doctors kept telling me that it was better to hold off surgery until it interfered with quality of life. It was never visible and it didn’t hurt. So things started to gradually get dark and vision badly blurred. Last November I went to have my annual eye checkup and the optometrist said I should go see a surgeon. Finally got around to it and sure enough it had gotten to that point. But they weren’t sure if the lens would adhere due to the prior injury and there was a chance of blindness in that eye so I took a gamble and had it done. So far…so good.
