It's the blanket, right? The one with the stripes in the ends? It doesn't really work as a dynamic thing because it's like a vvery flattened box really. So what you see, the blotches, is where the backside penetrates the front. (on the plus side: it has a matress morphs ;) )
You should use the Supermorphing sheet or the Supermorphing Square instead. You can add any MAT to that in the Material Room (if you need a plaid pattern, check out BB's Matmatic demos, there's some nice plaids in there)
You could also add some more material zones if you want stripes and then simply put a colouron each zone. There's an explanation of how to do that in THIS THREAD
Or, since you're using dynamics anyway, just use the High Rez square included in Poser, it's meant for dynamic drapings :) (those morphing blankets of mine were made back in the Poser 4 days, before dynamics)
