I like the balance to this one better, with the split between sky and sea.. I've no qualms with cropping off a bit from the left, and I think I'd go quite close at the bottom like you have too..
I was even considering cloning out the leftmost darker rock to make it more of an isolated object.... cool, thanks for the replies everyone ;)
