Subject: Poser Pro doesn't like overclocking?

ratscloset, my preview render setting was nothing special, just everything set at default without hardware shading on, except textures @ 1024, and a window of 1100x900 in size. I was testing it on a test scene I made that uses 5 GB of RAM, and has something like 30 textures in it. OpenGL, not SreeD.

But I don't know if that matters any because for one, my video card can handle that and plenty more, and it's always been rock solid stable at normal CPU and GPU settings.

Ghonma, I think you're on to something there. My board (which is brand new and which I just installed yesterday) has all kinds of OC options, so it's not that, but I did have the GPU overclocked too, through the EVGA precision tool, not the BIOS. I actually forgot about that. ;-)

Anyhow, everything was fine with Lightwave and 3DMark and Sandra, so I don't understand why Poser had problems. I'm going to have to try it out again some more, if you say you've been OCing Poser for a while. Knowing that it's something on my end and not a Poser flaw makes me want to. Gotta figure it out, you know, can't just let this rest. ;-)
