**HELLO> As a fellow Michigander, I saw this on the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo t.v. stations last night. I applaud this effort.

Given the state, or SAD state of our current economy, this will be a welcome venue. It would have been nice if this would have been possibly a MICHIGAN only contest initially?

It's kinda like the lottery to me. You end up with ONE BIG winner with a TON of money,  however.

I LUV the 'arts' and all it represents. I just think that JOBS are priority #1 these days so peeps can BUY artworks, etc.
