Hi guys!
As usual i turn to those with experience for help! Sorry that's me!

Im looking for a terrain with morphable base for small or smooth ups ans downs hills... not like mountains necessarily... but something to work inside poser that i can work with different textures like sand or allien terrain... basically uneven terrain... without the back preferibly

I found this one at RDNA that is exactly what im looking for but is too small... an dit has background pictures... i rather only the Base

Did you try to use a displacement map? Perhaps generated with shader nodes?

Have a peak at this it is big

www.runtimedna.com/MicroCosm-2.0-Multi-Terrain-Set.html

also on the nav bar on the left click on exclusives and this is found on the last page of the mircoCosm series. There are a lot of texture options

You could probably do this with magnets, they are really easy to use. Create a plane prop and assign some magnets and waves to it, and you can create hills and valleys :-)

hi Sirenia! Looks like and option! well thought!

Hi Grichter! i got so confused with all those extras; Oh God! did you see that? but i think is the best option available until now; even though i dont like those textures at all... but i think the terrain will do. Thanks for your help my friend!

If you have Poser 7, you already have a cut down version of the RDNA Microcosm as part of the install. It is in the figures library, in the CP Partners->RuntimeDNA->Microcosm folder. Inject the morphs from the Pose->CP Partners->RuntimeDNA->Microcosm folder and play. The textures are in the material room, in the CP Partners->RuntimeDNA->Microcosm folder.

For more complex and/or varied terrain, another option is to make your own terrain in Terragen. Export it in LWO format then convert it to OBJ format and import it into Poser.

Hi lesbentley!
I'd love to work with a landscape software, but i cannot decide between Vue, Terragen or Carrara; Vue seems a little too expensive for my purpose but i'll keep your words that in mind

Thanks for your help!

Keep an eye out for magazines, recently Carrara6Pro has been on the cover disc of a couple of magazines.

There is a free version of Terragen but it is limited in some functions.
