If you have PoserPro and your render option is the defaulted 2.2, go into the Material room for the VSS prop and select 'Template_skin' under materials.  Scroll to the far left top; there you will find the 'PM; Gamma' node.  Change the 2.2 value in that node to 1.  Check all the other material groups for changes and resynchronize.  Render the scene again.
