How about using terrains to do the Islamic doorways..Make the original in a paint program and realize it as a terrain in Bryce...it's the work around a lot of folks here have had success with.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
