Hi all,
This is what I meant to post:
As a consequence of getting a new camera system, I have wondered how to post my images with the EXIF info intact. I get my images in jpg from the camera and they are 3872x2592 and around 2.5 MB in size.
I can save them as tiff files using Paintshop Pro XI but when I do this, the EXIF info is lost. When I use Adobe Photoshop 7 to change from the jpg to tiff, the file size increases dramatically to about 28.7MB (10 times bigger) but the EXIF is still there.
After cropping the image size to about 2512x1992 it is still a big file ( 14.3M). I then reduce the file size to around (900x714) at 1.85MB using 300dpi. I use 300dpi so the image can be printed. I realize 300 dpi increases the file size and is too high for posting online but if I change the dpi, it also changes the resolution size.
At this point I get confused and forget about including the EXIF, lol.
Any suggestions?
