In all actuality, the best program to create text for Poser texturing is Adobe Illustrator.  It gives better, sharper lines for such work.  I use Inkscape for decaling images onto my textures and the best perk is it is free.  It can be found here:

Slight learning curve but you will be satisfied with the results.
