 There's a lot of pictures here, and it looks as though you have the turrets badly wrong. The front faces are sloped, but it looks as though the sides and rear should be vertical.

Also check www.navweaps.com  The first photo on the default page is of a gun being installed on the USS Connecticut, and clicking on the pic brings you to the details of the gun, with a lot of pictures on the site, better showing the turret shape.
