actually, because of the depth of the wires, the white background was not level and flat as it normally is, so when the light scanned the image, the background had many varying shades of grey (as ya'll can see in the pics). Also, the wires created many random shadows which also creates havoc for the magic wand. The way I figured it, I could get the wand to take away most of the space between the wires so I could clean up the rest after, but I might as well just save time and do it all by hand. It's daunting, and no I'm not done (that last pic represents about 10+ hours of cutting and erasing). Still, this is only a small part of it all, and when the final thing iss done, it better look good dammit... ry
