Right on, Izi. Go one step further, though and consider the multiplication with the blue. Is the blue the sort of ratio control you discussed, or was that arrived at based on the visualization after the multiply? Either way, the blue should be left alone. But Poser Pro will change it. This is one disadvantage of Poser Pro, and one reason why total understanding and total control of the shader color math is key.

This is like the difference between a Digital SLR and a Point-and-shoot. If you're going to put the SLR in automatic mode, don't buy it.


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
