Whoa, I think I have it, you said "make a MTL file". You don't need to; you already have one! Poser4 creates it, but it is not readable by other apps. The "Make MTL File" tool is for Poser3 users (P3 exports an OBJ but no MTL), this is stated in the second line of the Help. Your PZ3 file contains features that will crash P3, and so when you attempt to make an MTL, you've got trouble, since VM is expecting a P3 file. Guess I will have to add a check for that, since obviously I can't expect everyone to actually read how to use a program. BUT, since you also did it the correct way, by clicking "Open" rather than "Make MTL", and generated a log with no errors and yet you say there were no files in the output folder, you either aren't looking in the right place, or my words about your system being screwed up somehow are still true.
