I agree with Clint: without the original model, the texture will be hard to test. You can ask for "beta testers", though. Objects, such as books, banners, square-edged furniture, etc., can probably be done without owning the original object. Curvy organics (clothing and people) are difficult to match at the seams. There are a few seam maps with color-coded edges in the Forums. Many of the best texture makers will remap an item, using UVMapper, to improve the layout of the pieces. The "P4 formal" was greatly improved by making a columnar map rather than planar one. Also, Bloodsong and others have remapped the heads of the beasties so that they can have spots and stripes which don't stretch strangely at a center seam. If you plan to sell textures, you may wish to see what items already have a lot of textures (such as t-shirts) and which don't have enough... or any. Carolly
