My apologies.  I just realized I had the wrong version of the script bundled in the .zip file.  It's been correct and the newest version is in the file.

   In a nut shell..  using IK Solvers and rotation limits, you can just grab a bone in the armature and just move it / pull it where you want it with out worrying about if the bone is bending realistically.
