about a month ago, I did go ahead and purchased the Dell XPS 64 bit w/24 GB RAM + 1 GB ATI graphic card..... and poser appears to work fine (w/ multiple morph loaded V3, A3 and M3 characters + high res. textures in the same scene)....

The 64 bit render engine is real sweet... significantly faster than the 32 bit counterpart... the difference is like night and day!

Judging from the performance of the 64 bit render engine, I hope that one day (soon) Smith Co would announce the release of "64 bit" Poser program!
