If you can, get XP 64... I have seen too many quirky issues with Vista in general and Vista 64 specifically that when I built my new system earlier this year, I opted for XP 64.

These issues are not limited to Poser or Graphic Software specifically, but most programs I have used (I have two Vista Systems.. both are the only machines I ever really truly thought about unplugging and throwing on the Driveway in frustration. Realize I use to have a Mil Ed Windows Machine and Windows 3.1 (not 3.11) and neither of those ever had me thinking of doing that!)
