Absolutely right! In fact, I have seen many dial up to 500%, and they look ridiculous.
Carrara could benefit from a global bump adjust which would set all bumps to a certain number, of give the option to adjust all by an input percentage (say 10%). This would allow one to to a global adjustment, and then go back and do individual adjustments as necessary.
