A couple things.  First is make sure the cloth you are using has all the body morphs your character is using.  A lot only have a limited number of body morphs they work with.    Second is depending on your dialed morph numbers, not all morphs work perfectly well with each other.  Third is you need to check you clothing item to see if it has fit morphs or JCMs to tweak it with.
