I'm trying to save some hair fit pose files for a hair prop I made....and it saves the xyz trans dials, but not the scale dials.

Do I need to save it as a prop file first, edit down and then convert to a pose file? (I've probably answered my own question there...but it's been a very long weekend and my brain is tired)

In Poser6 if that helps any.

Never mind me....I did answer my own question and everything works like it's supposed to.

As you found out, Poser does not save scaling data to a pose file. Saving the prop and editing it down to pz2 format is one option. Strictly speaking you don't even need to edit it, just change the file extension, but that leaves a lot of unnecessary junk in the file. Another option is to use the py script by svdl in the thread linked above. It saves scaling data only. You can then edit to combine the scaling pose with a normal pose. You would need to have the hair prop parented to a figure. The script will save a pose for the whole figure including any parented props.

Will save the script for future use on other projects. Was pretty easy to run through CR2Builder and just delete everything but the dial keys for the needed ones.

Now that my brain has finally woken up, turned itself on...and all that jazz.
