I just had a look through all the images and it is just rubbish everywhere... :(

Well, here is my first contribution... people throwing their rubbish next to a fairly empty rubbish bin.... sigh

The more I get to do with people, the more I love animals....

**RUBBISH IN-SITU.**   This rubbish is still in place.  One day it will be in a heap. Recognize the air tubes used to send bank transactions from the drive-by to the teller and back?

English Starlings, yes, someone imported them to this country and they love it more than we love starlings...the starlings love the tubes and the old bank building. They raise a fine group of kids there each year.

THE BLOB...I am not used to such a reflection. See the blob at upper left?  It is the reddish circle thing.

TomDart ( ) posted Wed, 08 July 2009 at 6:41 PM

Joe, your bottle and dragonfly is super!

:::  scratches head and trys to recall the last time she heard "nice rubbish there" in everyday conversation :::::

: )    It just struck me as sorta funny ...

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

This is a typical rubbish bin around here.  We call it "trash" or "garbage," as opposed to "rubbish," btw.  This is what is known as a dumpster.  The sign that says "trash only" means it's not a recycling bin.

I made sure I left in enough of the building and the car behind the dumpster in order to give you a sense of scale, for those of you not familiar with these bins.

My last one comes directly from under my feet! In fact, these are a boiler, some bricks and some sacks of cement forgotten by someone in the common area of the underground garages beneath my block of flats. When I left a month ago they had been there for some weeks, when I came back they were still there. The shot was takes yesterday. Ciao, Sandra
