I have CS2 and it integrates perfectly with it. I'm sure it will with the newer ones as well.
Yup! No seams to worry about, you paint right over top the seams and all, and it gets applied to your texture automatically. You can import jpg photos to use for your texture, line up and scale the photo the way you want and start painting the photo right onto the model. It has a mode to paint directly onto the pixels too so you lose very little detail from the photo.
