In version 2.49, I don't think it can import Poser native files outright.  I'm sculpting V4's face obj and importing them back to Poser.  I Googled the same information about Poser imports, and it says that it wouldn't import .pz files.  Now, for Collada, I'm guessing.  I haven't tried it yet.
