How do you upload into the writer's gallery?  I see the page that says to upload on it, but there is no option to browse a file or anything.  Also, how do I upload an image with it?  Do I do it separately in the image gallery?  I'm confused can anybody help?

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry you had to wait so long for an answer!

When you do an upload to the writer's gallery, first choose "Writer's Gallery" (instead of Photography) and your Genre.  Once you do that, the paramaters for "writer's" will be set.  (Different image size, higher word count.)

Upload your cover art image the same way you would a photograph.  There's a size limitation, so make sure your image is less than ... 450x450, I think.  I always use 400x400, and it works just fine.  (It says 300x300 or whatever, but that's ancient information.)

You can type your text directly into the box where you would normally write a "caption" for a photograph (if it's short), or you can do a copy/paste from an already written document.  There isn't a way to transfer a document file directly into RR like you do with an image file.

If you're using MS Word or something, all the characters won't show up right, and you'll get funky stuff in the middle of your piece where you THOUGHT you had punctuation!  If that happens, try doing a copy/paste to a new e-mail, and then do another copy/paste to the text box.  That should fix whatever weirdness gets created in a direct transfer.  I've actually started doing all my writing in my e-mail program just to save a step.  It was weird at first, but I got used to it!

One of the choices you have when uploading writing is to "Align Left" or "Align Right."  If you leave it at "Align Left," your IMAGE will be on the left.  (Somebody wasn't thinking when they did that!)  Your text will line up to the right of the image, and all the "production details" will sort of get in the way of what you've written.  Try "Align Right" and see if you like that better.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, or if I wasn't clear in something, or if what you're doing doesn't work out for whatever reason.

Good luck!  I'll look forward to seeing what you've written!
