Anyway, the answer is that the Daz installer wants to verify that there is a file in there called poser.exe. Instead, you have PoserPro.exe.
Just create a file called poser.exe. It doesn't have to be the poser executable - any file with that name in that folder will make the installer work.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
