increase the specularity of the eye textures in the Material room (dang, I almost sounded like I knew what I was talking about for a sec...;)

Another trick, dialate the eyes slightly, maybe .2 or so, it's a subconscious cue that indicates interest. (It's why the market guys in the souks in the Middle East wear sunglasses)
