Stefan - great render! That should be on the web site.

There's seems to be a failure to comprehend about the space issue, despite repeated explanations that you can move and size everything as you like.

Some seem concerned that the library is bigger than it used to be. Here's my response:

1) If you only care to see 5 to 7 items at a time (as was shown in somebody's screen shot of previous Poser) then by all means shrink the library down vertically so it only shows 5 at a time and stack it vertically with the parameters. Now you have MORE space than ever before, while being able to see the same amount of content.

  1. It is 2009, almost 2010. I respect that some people cannot upgrade their hardware due to financial concerns. But 1024x768 is not the norm anymore. I think it's nice that the UI takes advantage of the screens I actually use. Your mileage may vary.

  2. The layout is static only if you run it that way. That's your mistake if you do that. Learn to use the UI layout dots. To me, the Pose room is really two rooms. The Loading Pose room, and the Tweaking Pose room. When I'm loading, I want the library big. I want search. I want fast access to my favorites. I want simultaneous visiblity across runtimes, without having to navigate up, up, up, over, down, down, down. The library GUi remembers where you've been before - it saves a lot of time. In other words, it was redesigned to speed your workflow. That means you should only have it up when loading things is part of your workflow. Not using it? Put it away with a single click. Need it again? Bring it back with a single click, exactly in the state it was, with everything open, everything you found recently, etc.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
